I’m thrilled to share one of my latest projects—creating the label art for the Rare Character Series Whiskey, inspired by none other than Tampa, the Sunshine City! This project was a labor of love, bringing together my passion for design and my deep connection to Tampa's vibrant spirit.

The Inspiration

When I think of Tampa, I’m immediately struck by its energy and warmth. This city is a melting pot of cultures, history, and, of course, sunshine. I wanted the label to embody all of that—something that not only reflects the golden rays of the sun but also captures the essence of Tampa’s lively atmosphere.

The Design Process

The design features a palette of bold yellows, rich oranges, and cool blues, all working together to evoke the feeling of a perfect sunny day in Tampa. The cityscape is detailed with iconic elements that locals and visitors alike would recognize. Every line, every color choice, was made to celebrate Tampa’s unique character.

As with all the work I do for the Rare Character Series, the goal was to create something that stands out on the shelf and tells a story—one that speaks to the quality and craftsmanship of the whiskey inside.
